Your local Willagee reticulation team
Whether it's an older system that's started playing up or a new landscape that needs waterwise coverage from day one, we handle the lot — repairs, servicing, controllers, bores and full installations.
Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Melville, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. Our depot in Jandakot puts Willagee about 8 km away, comfortably inside our everyday coverage.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.

What does Willagee’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Yellow Spearwood sand over limestone drains freely, so splitting your watering-day run into two shorter cycles, with a wetting agent, beats one long soak. The shallow limestone also makes trenching for repairs harder than it looks.
Groundwater & bores. Groundwater under this part of the coastal plain is generally accessible, so a garden bore (new or revived) is a practical way to water without paying scheme rates. Water Corporation's roster and winter sprinkler ban still apply to bores.
Rainfall — about 808mm a year. Averages about 808mm a year at the Jandakot Aero gauge with roughly 79% falling May-September — so the controller should step down through autumn and observe the 1 June - 31 August sprinkler switch-off.

What kind of retic work do we do in Willagee?

From our Willagee job book
A Willagee coil reading with no valve in sight
A Willagee system gave our technician a useful piece of information and a frustrating one at the same time: the coil on station 2 read correctly at the controller, but nobody knows where that solenoid (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station) physically is. A good coil reading proves the circuit is intact all the way to the valve — so the wiring and the coil are sound, and any fault is mechanical, at a valve that still has to be found.
Locating it is the next step. Nozzles, pop-ups and risers (the upright pipe a sprinkler sits on) were replaced across the system and both controllers reset.
One item was flagged as an imperfect option: a micro riser in a garden bed would need extending beyond 600mm to clear the planting, which is not ideal — a riser that tall is unstable and easily knocked, and repositioning is usually the better answer.
What we actually find in Willagee
We've completed 20 jobs in Willagee. For this pattern check we read the 6 with the fullest, most recent technician notes — a capped sample, deliberately small and not random. 3 involved failed solenoids and valve coils (23% across the 1,781 Perth jobs sampled the same way) and 3 involved broken pop-ups and blocked nozzles (29%). Counts overlap, because one job can carry both. It is not Willagee's fault rate, and we don't publish it as one.
