Your local Palmyra reticulation team
Whether it's an older system that's started playing up or a new landscape that needs waterwise coverage from day one, we handle the lot — repairs, servicing, controllers, bores and full installations.
Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Melville, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. Our depot in Jandakot puts Palmyra about 10 km away, comfortably inside our everyday coverage.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.

What does Palmyra’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Free-draining yellow sand with limestone often close beneath — great drainage, poor moisture holding. Splitting one watering into two cycles inside the same window suits it, and retic trenching can hit caprock.
Groundwater & bores. Shallow sandy geology means bores in this area usually deliver reliable garden water; pairing one with well-tuned reticulation keeps large lawns affordable. The 2-day roster and winter ban apply to bore watering too.
Rainfall — about 727mm a year. About 727mm a year (Swanbourne), with ~78% arriving May-September — a smart controller with seasonal adjust handles the swing, and winter watering is largely unnecessary even before the ban.

What kind of retic work do we do in Palmyra?
The Palmyra work in our job system tells its own story: the most common call-outs here are controller work, sprinkler & pop-up repairs and leak & pipe repairs. 14 of our Palmyra jobs landed in just the last two years, so the local knowledge is current — not folklore.
From our Palmyra job book
A Palmyra station running off a battery node
A Palmyra system had a station that was no longer programmed into the controller at all. Testing every station established why: station 5, on a 40mm valve, was running off a battery-operated node rather than from the controller.
Nodes are fitted where getting a wire to a valve is impractical — they sit at the valve and run on a battery, with their own small schedule. The node had failed, so our technician replaced it, and subsequent testing confirmed the valve now opens and closes on command.
Sprinkler replacements were completed and the system programmed. One recommendation was left with the owner: no existing pipework could be located across the driveway, and installing a steel sleeve beneath it would allow reticulation to be run there later without cutting the driveway a second time.
