Your local O'Connor reticulation team
Whether it's an older system that's started playing up or a new landscape that needs waterwise coverage from day one, we handle the lot — repairs, servicing, controllers, bores and full installations.
O'Connor is one of the area's older suburbs — gardens (and the retic buried under them) can date back generations, which makes wire-tracing, valve rebuilds and controller upgrades everyday work here. Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Fremantle, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. Our depot in Jandakot puts O'Connor about 8 km away, comfortably inside our everyday coverage.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.

What does O'Connor’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Well-drained yellow sands over Tamala limestone: water moves through fast, so a properly scheduled controller and soil wetters do the heavy lifting.
Groundwater & bores. Sandy soils over shallow groundwater make this classic garden-bore territory; running retic from a bore takes garden watering off the scheme-water bill. Bores follow the same 2-day roster and winter switch-off as scheme users.
Rainfall — about 808mm a year. Around 808mm falls annually (Jandakot Aero data), close to 79% of it May-September; gardens rely almost entirely on reticulation from November to March, when scheduling accuracy matters most.

What kind of retic work do we do in O'Connor?
The O'Connor jobs we've done to date centre on controller work, solenoid & valve repairs and leak & pipe repairs. Wherever your fault sits, the diagnosis process is the same disciplined one we run on every Perth job.
From our O'Connor job book
An old valve buried at the base of an O'Connor tree
An O'Connor system had station 2, serving the front of the property, not opening fully. Our technician tracked and located it at the base of a tree, and found a 40mm solenoid valve (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station) old enough that its internals were well past serviceable — the kind that will not seat or open reliably however good the coil is.
Replacing it was expected to bring most of the front of the property back into service. On station 4 at the rear, several sprinklers were protruding above the surface and presenting a trip hazard; those were relocated and buried correctly.
The wiring was tracked and a sketch of the layout provided to the owner, which is worth as much as the repair — a record of where the valves and wire runs are turns the next fault into a short visit.

What O'Connor customers say
“After noticing a spike in our water bills, we contacted Perth Landscaping and Gardening and was impressed with their fast, friendly and efficient service! Booking was easy and John turned up the very next day. No time was wasted after a quick explanation John knew exactly what the problem was. He reset the retic program for us and explained the settings. Highly recommend this company.”
