Every visit is backed by our workmanship warranty. We're a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, with 230 Google reviews averaging 4.7 stars.

Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Belmont and the City of Swan, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. We're about 20 km from our Jandakot base, well inside the daily service runs.

What does Perth Airport’s soil and water mean for your retic?

Soil — Pinjarra Plain clay-loams. Heavier soils here hold water between cycles, so the win is scheduling: fewer, deeper, staged waterings and hydrozoned stations rather than sand-style frequency.

Groundwater & bores. The aquifer is present but less uniformly accessible under this ground — get a local assessment before committing to a bore. Either way, a well-tuned system keeps watering inside the 2-day roster comfortably.

Rainfall — about 755mm a year. Expect ~755mm annually per the Perth Airport M.O. gauge, heavily winter-weighted (~79% May-Sep): summer is effectively rain-free, so summer run times carry the garden.

What kind of retic work do we do in Perth Airport?

The Perth Airport work in our job system tells its own story: the most common call-outs here are servicing & tune-ups, controller work and sprinkler & pop-up repairs. 25 of our Perth Airport jobs landed in just the last two years, so the local knowledge is current — not folklore.

From our Perth Airport job book

Chasing low pressure at a Perth Airport site

A Perth Airport site had a pressure problem, and the job is a fair record of how those are worked through — by elimination. Our technician located the station 1 and 2 valves and swapped both solenoids (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station), then opened and cleaned the inline filters, which are an obvious restriction when loaded.

The flush point closest to the solenoid was plugged off to see whether it was bleeding pressure; it made no improvement, so that was ruled out. The flush valve was swapped for a flushing tap to seal the line properly, and the line running under the path capped to separate the two zones so each could be assessed on its own.

With the system-side causes eliminated, the remaining suspicion is the pump, which may need servicing or replacement. Ruling things out in order is what stops an expensive component being replaced on a guess.

What we actually find in Perth Airport

Of our 42 Perth Airport jobs we read the 6 with the fullest, most recent notes — capped, and not a random sample. 3 involved low pressure and poor flow and 3 involved failed solenoids and valve coils, against 11% and 23% across the 1,781 Perth jobs sampled the same way. Counts overlap, because one job can carry both.

Reticulation Perth Airport FAQs

Yes, but contact the City before you dig, if you're in the City of Belmont. Perth Airport has a council boundary running through it — parts sit in the City of Swan, so check which side you're on. Excavation for irrigation within the Tree Protection Zone should be done by Soil Vacuum or Airspade method to minimise root damage, or manually 'dig by hand'.

Verge rules by council

It depends on your exact spot — groundwater access around Perth Airport varies, sometimes street to street. We can assess your block's suitability, and if a bore doesn't stack up, a well-zoned scheme-water system with matched nozzles is the next best water saver.

Garden bores in Perth

Perth Airport sits on Pinjarra Plain clay-loams. That soil holds water well but takes it in slowly, so sprinklers can easily apply it faster than the ground absorbs. The most common thing we get booked for in Perth Airport is servicing & tune-ups, so that's where the technician starts. The schedule is built around about 10mm on each rostered day — split into two cycles inside the same watering window when the ground won't take it in one.

Perth soil types & watering

The same two-day Water Corporation roster as the rest of Perth — Perth Airport is no exception, and bores are on it too. Because the roster keys off your street number, two houses on the same street can be on different days — worth checking rather than copying a neighbour.

Repairs aren't quoted — every system and fault is different, so you book a repair rather than a quote. The technician diagnoses and fixes on site, most faults in the same visit. If a larger job needs parts ordered, we'll tell you the cost before we proceed.
