Your local Padbury reticulation team
Repairs aren't quoted — you book a repair and our technician diagnoses and fixes on site, with the parts already on the van. New systems are quoted after a paid site assessment, credited in full to your install if you accept the quote within 30 days.
Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Joondalup, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. We're about 35 km from our Jandakot base, well inside the daily service runs.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.
What does Padbury’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Well-drained yellow sands over Tamala limestone: water moves through fast, so a properly scheduled controller and soil wetters do the heavy lifting.
Groundwater & bores. Shallow sandy geology means bores in this area usually deliver reliable garden water; pairing one with well-tuned reticulation keeps large lawns affordable. The 2-day roster and winter ban apply to bore watering too.
Rainfall — about 718mm a year. Local average is ~718mm a year, about 79% of it in the May-September wet season (Perth Metro) — reprogram seasonally and switch sprinklers off for the mandatory June-August ban.

From our Padbury job book
Consolidating a Padbury system onto one controller
A Padbury owner wanted three things: reticulation into the raised limestone garden beds, a leaking tap timer removed, and the two front stations brought onto the main controller instead. Our technician installed an additional valve for the beds — which needed an add-a-station (a device that runs a second valve off an existing wire) device, as there was no spare wire — and ran poly with spectrum emitters through them.
For the front, the mainline and cable were located, two valves installed and both stations added to the controller. Consolidating onto one controller is worth doing whenever a tap timer has been used to work around a wiring problem: it removes a separate battery-powered unit that can fail unnoticed, and puts the whole property on one schedule.
The controller settings were deliberately left alone, as the owner prefers to adjust the programming himself.
