An Osborne Park visit in April 2026 involved a broken pop-up on the front verge, which was repaired — and a controller problem that was doing more damage than the broken head. The programme carried an extra start time, meaning the system was running a second full cycle the owner had not asked for and, in all likelihood, did not know about.
Our technician removed the additional start time and extended the run times on the remaining cycle. That combination is deliberate: fewer, longer waterings move moisture deeper into the soil profile and encourage deeper roots, where several short cycles wet the surface and lose much of it to evaporation.
