With no record of where the valves sat, our technician potholed along the mainline to locate the master valve (the main valve that shuts the whole system off) and the stuck station valve, working around extensive tree root systems that made digging slow.
Three valves were located and excavated in the process, and the stuck valve was replaced. A valve that will not close bleeds pressure continuously, which is why the whole system underperforms rather than one station failing outright.
