Your local Kingsley reticulation team
One call covers everything watering-related: mains reticulation, controllers, solenoids, wiring faults, and bore pumps if your property runs on groundwater.
Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Joondalup, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. Our depot in Jandakot puts Kingsley about 32 km away, comfortably inside our everyday coverage.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.
What does Kingsley’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Sand over limestone drains rapidly and can turn water-repellent in summer — a wetting agent, plus splitting the run into two shorter cycles inside the same watering window (both before 9am, or both after 6pm), is the standard fix in this belt.
Groundwater & bores. Sandy soils over shallow groundwater make this classic garden-bore territory; running retic from a bore takes garden watering off the scheme-water bill. Bores follow the same 2-day roster and winter switch-off as scheme users.
Rainfall — about 718mm a year. Averages about 718mm a year at the Perth Metro gauge with roughly 79% falling May-September — so the controller should step down through autumn and observe the 1 June - 31 August sprinkler switch-off.

What kind of retic work do we do in Kingsley?

From our Kingsley job book
Creating a station without digging in Kingsley
A Kingsley system needed an additional wire run, and our technician installed a wire splitter instead of trenching one. A splitter lets two valves share a single field wire, addressed separately from the controller, which avoids excavating a new run across an established garden.
The solenoid (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station) closest to the meter was replaced, the controller checked and programmed, and a valve box installed over the solenoids and isolation valve so they can be reached without digging next time. One fault was left open deliberately: station 3 was seized open, and locating and replacing that valve needed a return visit rather than a rushed attempt at the end of the day.
Booking the follow-up honestly is better than opening an excavation with no time left to close it properly.
What we actually find in Kingsley
Of our 93 Kingsley jobs we read the 6 with the fullest, most recent notes — capped, and not a random sample. 3 involved failed solenoids and valve coils, against 23% across the 1,781 Perth jobs sampled the same way. Enough to shape where we start; not enough to call Kingsley unusual.
