Repairs aren't quoted — you book a repair and our technician diagnoses and fixes on site, with the parts already on the van. New systems are quoted after a paid site assessment, credited in full to your install if you accept the quote within 30 days.

Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Swan, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. Our depot in Jandakot puts Bushmead about 24 km away, comfortably inside our everyday coverage.

We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.

What does Bushmead’s soil and water mean for your retic?

Soil — foothills gravels and clay-loams. Sand-over-clay profiles common at the scarp's foot hold winter moisture yet dry patchily in summer — per-zone scheduling and occasional coverage audits pay off.

Groundwater & bores. Clay and alluvium make bore yields less predictable here than on Perth's sands — worth checking local conditions before drilling. Efficiency upgrades (smart controller, rain sensor, drip zones) are the sure-thing alternative.

Rainfall — about 755mm a year. About 755mm a year (Perth Airport M.O.), with ~79% arriving May-September — a smart controller with seasonal adjust handles the swing, and winter watering is largely unnecessary even before the ban.

What kind of retic work do we do in Bushmead?

Our completed Bushmead jobs so far have covered solenoid & valve repairs, new system installs and controller work — and every one adds to the local system knowledge our technicians bring to the next booking.

From our Bushmead job book

Pop-ups not standing tall enough in Bushmead

A Bushmead site had a problem on its front and verge lawn stations that is easy to overlook: the pop-ups were not standing tall enough. A head that only rises part way sprays into the surrounding grass rather than over it, so the water goes into a small circle around the head and the rest of the area gets nothing — while the head appears, to anyone glancing at it, to be working.

Our technician replaced and raised the pop-ups and replaced blocked nozzles across both stations. Every exposed wiring join was remade with proper connectors rather than left as found.

The controller was reprogrammed because it was carrying multiple programs and start times, which is how a system ends up watering more often than anyone intended without anybody changing anything.

"A++++ service! I was looking for quotes to install reticulation at my place. After talking to Joanne, I looked no further. I received a very competitive quote and she arrange for John to come and install the system. Amazing communication and a fantastic job. John even came the Saturday I laid the grass to make sure the sprinklers are at the best height, saying he will follow up in a couple of months to assess if any problems occurred. What a champ! I fully recommend them!"

Reticulation Bushmead FAQs

Yes, no council permission needed. Bushmead is in the City of Swan. Dial 1100 for Dial before You Dig or go online prior to any works commencing on site.

Verge rules by council

It depends on your exact spot — groundwater access around Bushmead varies, sometimes street to street. We can assess your block's suitability, and if a bore doesn't stack up, a well-zoned scheme-water system with matched nozzles is the next best water saver.

Garden bores in Perth

Bushmead sits on foothills gravels and clay-loams. Drainage there can change within a single block, so stations often need different run times from each other. The most common thing we get booked for in Bushmead is solenoid & valve repairs, so that's where the technician starts. We set run times to deliver about 10mm on each of your two rostered days, and split the run into two cycles inside the same watering window where the soil needs it.

Perth soil types & watering

The same two-day Water Corporation roster as the rest of Perth — Bushmead is no exception, and bores are on it too. Because the roster keys off your street number, two houses on the same street can be on different days — worth checking rather than copying a neighbour.

Repairs aren't quoted — every system and fault is different, so you book a repair rather than a quote. The technician diagnoses and fixes on site, most faults in the same visit. If a larger job needs parts ordered, we'll tell you the cost before we proceed.
