Grey Bassendean sand: fast-draining and water-repellent

No power reaching station 4 in Harrisdale
Our technician tested this Harrisdale system in February 2026 and worked through a list of fixes. Two sprinklers were replaced, and another four were replaced and set upright, since they had been leaning back. A damaged solenoid that was staying on was also swapped for a new one.
Station 4 was a bigger problem. No power was getting through the cable to its solenoid, so that zone can't run automatically. A valve in that state can still be opened by hand, but the controller has no way of switching it on for a schedule. The next step is to trace the cable with a tracker and repair the break, or replace the cable if the damage is worse, and a return visit was booked for March 2026.
