Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Wanneroo, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. We're about 29 km from our Jandakot base, well inside the daily service runs.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.

What does Girrawheen’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Well-drained yellow sands over Tamala limestone: water moves through fast, so a properly scheduled controller and soil wetters do the heavy lifting.
Groundwater & bores. Sandy soils over shallow groundwater make this classic garden-bore territory; running retic from a bore takes garden watering off the scheme-water bill. Bores follow the same 2-day roster and winter switch-off as scheme users.
Rainfall — about 718mm a year. The Perth Metro gauge averages ~718mm a year, ~79% of it May through September — dial summer cycles for zero rainfall help and let the winter switch-off do its job.

What kind of retic work do we do in Girrawheen?
Between 499+ commercial maintenance visits and our residential call-outs, Girrawheen is one of our busiest suburbs. On the tools, that mostly means controller work, servicing & tune-ups and bore & pump work.
From our Girrawheen job book
Why the Girrawheen controller "wasn't working"
A Girrawheen job earlier this year came in as a controller that was not working. The controller turned out to be fine.
Our technician inspected every station in turn and found a station wire sitting loose in the cabinet, never landed in the controller terminal — so that station could never be switched on, whatever the programming said. Testing the wire and tracing it to its valve then turned up a second, separate fault: the solenoid coil (the electrical part of that valve) at the other end had failed as well.
Both were repaired, along with a station of sprinklers that was not running and two pop-ups that needed replacing. Two faults stacked on one station is a good argument for testing the whole path rather than the first thing that looks wrong — replacing the coil alone would have left the wire disconnected and the station still dead.
What we actually find in Girrawheen
We've completed 504 jobs in Girrawheen. For this pattern check we read the 6 with the fullest, most recent technician notes — a capped sample, deliberately small and not random. 4 involved mainline leaks and split poly (33% across the 1,781 Perth jobs sampled the same way) and 3 involved broken pop-ups and blocked nozzles (29%). Counts overlap, because one job can carry both. It is not Girrawheen's fault rate, and we don't publish it as one.

What Girrawheen customers say
“I had a relatively small job which required the installation of some additional sprinkler heads into an established lawn. Of the many companies I called, Perth Reticulation Experts were the only one to respond in a reasonable timeframe. None of the others were interested in doing a relatively minor job. I received reminder emails for the appointment and the technician Kevin, messaged me on the day with progress of his schedule. Kevin carefully assessed the existing layout and was able to suggest some additional modifications, he was great to deal with, and I'm very happy with the work and will be using them for any further retic work required.”
