An Eden Hill property had a recurring problem that no amount of replacing heads was going to fix: the dog kept digging up the pop-ups. Our technician fitted four-inch pop-ups set slightly lower than standard, so there is less for a dog to get hold of and less standing proud when the system is not running.
Two other pop-ups were moved to better positions, a blown head in a garden bed was replaced with a shrub adapter — a taller fitting that clears low planting — and a blown pop-up on the back lawn repaired, along with micro risers (the upright pipe a sprinkler sits on) through the garden beds. Repeated failures in the same spot are worth treating as a design question rather than a maintenance one.
