Your local East Perth reticulation team

One call covers everything watering-related: mains reticulation, controllers, solenoids, wiring faults, and bore pumps if your property runs on groundwater.

Sand over limestone drains rapidly and can turn water-repellent in summer — wetting agent plus shorter, more frequent cycles is the standard fix in this belt. Groundwater under this part of the coastal plain is generally accessible, so a garden bore (new or revived) is a practical way to water without paying scheme rates. Water Corporation's roster and winter sprinkler ban still apply to bores. Annual rain near 718mm and strongly seasonal (~79% May-Sep at Perth Metro); the practical schedule is full summer duty, tapering shoulder seasons, sprinklers off 1 June - 31 August. We're about 15 km from our Jandakot base, well inside the daily service runs.

We’re Waterwise-endorsed and Irrigation Australia members, every job is backed by a full warranty, and we’re Perth’s most-reviewed retic specialist (rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews).

What does East Perth’s soil and water mean for your retic?

Soil — Spearwood sands. Classic Spearwood profile: free-draining sand, limestone beneath. Lawns respond to frequent light watering, and sprinkler layouts need decent pressure to cover evenly.

Groundwater & bores. The superficial aquifer here typically supports domestic garden bores — a big running-cost saving over scheme water for lawns. Note bore users now share the standard 2-days-per-week roster and the 1 June - 31 August switch-off.

Rainfall — about 718mm a year. The Perth Metro gauge averages ~718mm a year, ~79% of it May through September — dial summer cycles for zero rainfall help and let the winter switch-off do its job.

Reticulation East Perth FAQs

Generally yes — East Perth sits over accessible groundwater, which is why garden bores are common here. We install, service and repair bores and pumps; ask us whether your block is a good candidate. Groundwater under this part of the coastal plain is generally accessible, so a garden bore (new or revived) is a practical way to water without paying scheme rates.
