A Darlington leak, and the six metres we might still need
A Darlington property had a leak, which our technician located and repaired, then checked the rest of the property and confirmed no further leaks were showing. An MP rotator was replaced and redundant wires removed from the controller — worth doing, because wires left landed on terminals with nothing at the other end make every future diagnosis harder, since the next person cannot tell which stations are real. One possibility was flagged rather than assumed: if there turns out to be no pipe on the far side of the path, roughly six metres of trenching will be needed to get water across. Stating a possible additional scope before it is confirmed is fairer than discovering it mid-job, and it lets the owner decide whether to investigate now or later.
