A Daglish controller had power and not a single valve would respond. The cause was above ground rather than in the electronics: the wiring had been dug up by the owner's dog.
Our technician located the wire runs, isolated the sections that were not working and replaced them. The master solenoid valve (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station) and a station valve were replaced, along with non-working pop-ups and nozzles, and the 9V battery renewed before the controller was set to water on two days a week for fifteen minutes a station and left in automatic.
One further item was recorded for attention: several tees and elbows are both leaking and poorly installed, and need redoing. Fittings that were wrong from the start tend to be found during an unrelated repair, and they are worth listing rather than leaving to fail on their own schedule.
