What does Trigg’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Quindalup coastal sands. Young coastal dune sand that drains almost as fast as you water it, holding little moisture or nutrient. Short, frequent cycles with a wetting agent keep coastal lawns alive without waste.
Groundwater & bores. Domestic bores perform well across this sand-plain suburb, and an older bore is often worth servicing rather than abandoning. Bore watering follows the standard 2-day roster and the June-August sprinkler switch-off.

What a Trigg repair visit does and doesn't cover
A Trigg property had a leak on the mainline, upstream of the station 1 solenoid (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station), repaired — minor repairs to blocked and broken sprinklers, the controller battery replaced and the unit reprogrammed. Reticulation was also extended to pots at the front and back.
The note our technician left is the honest part and worth repeating: attending to the visibly blocked and broken sprinklers does not mean the system will now remain faultless. A repair visit addresses what can be seen and tested on the day.
Faults that are intermittent, or buried, or still developing will not show themselves during one run of each station. Saying that plainly sets a fair expectation — the alternative is an owner who believes a service visit is a warranty, and is understandably annoyed when something fails a month later.
