Sand over limestone: what it means for your retic
Soil — Spearwood sands. Sand over limestone drains rapidly and can turn water-repellent in summer — a wetting agent, plus splitting the run into two shorter cycles inside the same watering window (both before 9am, or both after 6pm), is the standard fix in this belt.
Groundwater & bores. Shallow sandy geology means bores in this area usually deliver reliable garden water; pairing one with well-tuned reticulation keeps large lawns affordable. The 2-day roster and winter ban apply to bore watering too.

A full sweep of a Kinross system
A Kinross site came in as a fault find — a section of reticulation reported as not working, with a solenoid (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station) suspected. Our technician inspected the site and the fault list ran wider than the one report: broken PVC pipes repaired, solenoids replaced, and pop-ups, poly risers (the upright pipe a sprinkler sits on) and assorted fittings adjusted, flushed and replaced across the system.
The controller was checked and programmed. A single reported fault is a starting point rather than a scope.

Local reticulation questions
Yes, it's a permissible verge treatment. Kinross is in the City of Joondalup. Irrigation pipes should be laid beneath the verge at a depth between 150mm and 300mm.
