A Halls Head property had part of its system not watering, and the cause on the first visit was straightforward once found: the site has two separate cut-ins, and one of the isolation valves in a valve box had been turned off. Our technician turned it back on and tested seven stations.
Where a property has more than one supply connection, half a system can be isolated while the other half runs normally — which reads as a fault in the dead section rather than a closed valve upstream of it. Two nozzles were replaced, a leak in the poly repaired, and gear drives (a rotating sprinkler for larger areas) swapped for MP rotators.
