"Tom was really efficient and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do at my place and had it done and tidied. Gave some advice on how to get the lawn back to being green and healthy. At my neighbour's place where I look after their garden it was a bit different as he was virtually working blind as I was not able to help with what stations came on etc. However it did not faze him and even though it took some time he finally was able to work out what happening and getting it sorted. Also checked the other sprinklers and adjusted to suit and changed timing of retic to suit. I called Perth Retic as last time Justin had come to my place to sort out retic and he provided excellent service as well so I had no hesitation in calling them this time. Coastal dune sand: fast drainage and your sprinklers
Soil — Quindalup coastal sands. Young coastal dune sand that drains almost as fast as you water it, holding little moisture or nutrient. Short, frequent cycles with a wetting agent keep coastal lawns alive without waste.
Groundwater & bores. Domestic bores perform well across this sand-plain suburb, and an older bore is often worth servicing rather than abandoning. Bore watering follows the standard 2-day roster and the June-August sprinkler switch-off.
Rainfall — about 865mm a year. Local average is ~865mm a year, about 80% of it in the May-September wet season (Halls Head) — reprogram seasonally and switch sprinklers off for the mandatory June-August ban.
