Sand over limestone: what it means for your retic

A Dalkeith drip line that kept blocking
A Dalkeith system had poly pipe that kept blocking, and our technician flushed it through as part of the visit. The underlying issue is the water source: the raised beds run off a bore, and bore water carries far more sediment and iron than scheme water.
Standard drip line has small, closely spaced emitters that block quickly on bore supply, so the recommendation was to change the raised beds over to drip line rated for bore water. The rest of the job was coverage and condition — the whole drip line was checked and its leaks repaired, drippers in the rear garden bed replaced, and nozzles swapped, including 12-foot nozzles changed to 15-foot to reach further.
Matching the emitter to the water source is the difference between a drip system that runs for years and one cleaned every season.
