Replacing a Wandi valve set at once
A Wandi owner had one solenoid valve (the electrically-operated valve that feeds one station) replaced the previous year and was now dealing with another one leaking. That sequence is exactly why our technician replaced all four this time — three station solenoids and the master.
Valves installed together, running the same water at the same pressure, tend to reach the end of their lives at around the same time, so replacing them one failure at a time means repeated callouts and repeated excavation for the same job. The valve boxes were also raised, because all of them had ended up buried under soil level, which is what turns a five-minute valve check into a dig.
A faulty sprinkler that was not popping up or spraying correctly was replaced and all three stations tested. The next fault on this system will be quicker and cheaper to reach.
