"I was kept informed of when and who was coming to do my Retic for me and when Justin arrived, he was friendly and helpful and kept me in the loop about what he was doing and how long it would take. He liaised with me during the process and when he left he tidied up where he had been working. I was super impressed."

Verge planting and reticulation rules sit with the City of Kwinana, while watering days come from the Water Corporation sprinkler roster, not the council — worth checking both before any verge retic work. Parmelia is roughly 18 km from our Jandakot depot — same-week bookings are the norm, not the exception.
We’re a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator and an Irrigation Australia member, every job is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we’re rated 4.7 from 230 Google reviews.

What does Parmelia’s soil and water mean for your retic?
Soil — Spearwood sands. Sand over limestone drains rapidly and can turn water-repellent in summer — a wetting agent, plus splitting the run into two shorter cycles inside the same watering window (both before 9am, or both after 6pm), is the standard fix in this belt.
Groundwater & bores. The superficial aquifer here typically supports domestic garden bores — a big running-cost saving over scheme water for lawns. Note bore users now share the standard 2-days-per-week roster and the 1 June - 31 August switch-off.
Rainfall — about 750mm a year. Roughly 750mm a year here (Medina Research Centre), with about 77% of it falling May-September — the long dry rest of the year is why controller programming and coverage checks pay for themselves.

A spinning water meter with the retic off in Parmelia
A Parmelia property had a water meter still turning with the reticulation isolated and switched off — the clearest possible evidence of a leak, and one that narrows the search immediately. If the meter moves while the system is off, the loss is upstream of everything that gets switched.
Our technician excavated and flushed the master and station valves, retightened the assemblies and tested, which stopped the slow leak. The mainline was then tested by calling a station that does not exist: the controller energises nothing, so the mainline pressurises with every station valve closed, and any movement at the meter would show a mainline loss.
All the station valves held. A temporary master valve (the main valve that shuts the whole system off) was installed to keep the system usable until the water meter work and the permanent isolation are completed.
