Grey Bassendean sand: fast-draining and water-repellent
Soil — Bassendean sands. Water-repellent grey sand means uneven lawns if coverage is patchy; regular retic checks plus wetting-agent treatment address the two usual causes together.
Groundwater & bores. Shallow sandy geology means bores in this area usually deliver reliable garden water; pairing one with well-tuned reticulation keeps large lawns affordable. The 2-day roster and winter ban apply to bore watering too.

Blocked nozzles and a broken head in Hilbert
A Hilbert property was revisited after a reported defect: sprinklers not popping up, water coming from the ground, and the rear reticulation not working. On inspection our technician found a broken domestic pop-up in the front lawn and two nozzles blocked with debris.
The broken head was replaced, the blocked nozzles cleared, and the spray patterns on the affected sprinklers adjusted to restore correct coverage. The combination is worth noting, because the two faults are related.
A broken head is an open outlet that lets soil and sand into the line while the system is running, and that debris travels to the next nozzles along and blocks them. Fixing the break without clearing the nozzles leaves the coverage problem in place; clearing the nozzles without fixing the break means they block again.

Yes, but your landscape plan needs approving first. Hilbert is in the City of Armadale. Synthetic lawns are not permitted in the City of Armadale, as the process of laying them creates an impervious layer. The sprinkler roster is a Water Corporation matter, so it doesn't change at the council boundary.
