What does Warnbro’s soil and water mean for your retic?

A missing fuse behind a dead Warnbro system
A Warnbro property had reticulation that was not working at all. Our technician located the master valve (the main valve that shuts the whole system off) near the water meter and found the mainline capped — then, tracing further, found a pump start relay with its fuse removed.
Somebody had taken it out. That is worth reporting carefully, because it was not a fault in any work we had previously done, and it would have been easy to treat a dead system as a failure of the last repair.
A system with no power reaching the pump behaves exactly like a system with a failed pump or a dead controller. A 13mm pipe leak in the garden was repaired and a broken sprinkler replaced, most likely damaged by a mower.
Establishing whether something has failed or has simply been switched off is the first question, and it costs nothing to ask.
