Two Rockingham valves stuck open at once
A Rockingham site had stations 2 and 3 both stuck open, running the verge and the internal garden beds continuously. The compounding effect is what makes this difficult to assess: with two stations open at the same time the available pressure is split across all of them, and there was not enough left in the garden beds to tell which emitters were working and which had failed.
In other words, the stuck valves had to be dealt with before the rest of the system could even be diagnosed. A leak was also found on the 20mm PVC on station 1.
This is a fair illustration of why faults get worked in order rather than all at once — some have to be cleared before the others become visible.
